Dinner is sorted. Food vans from Mansfield and further afield line the street: Flaming Pizzas, American barbecue, vegetarian Indian, loukoumades, twisty potatoes, the Rotary barbecue, soft serve, and berries and ice cream. Whatever everyone is in the mood for, someone here is doing it. To go with it, a glass of Ros Ritchie wine, a Swiftcrest gin, a Buller Road brew, a homemade lemonade or a Boost Juice smoothie.

Marks' Supa IGA Kidsfest and the Mansfield Produce Store Action Zone are right next door, and the Bendigo Bank Mansfield Main Stage has live music going in the same area.

Then it all rolls into the torchlight parade and the fireworks when the sun goes down. Which is the point: get down early, eat, and you are already standing in the right place when the parade comes through.
