Merrijig CFA - Community Open Day

FREE Community Open Day Join Merrijig Fire Brigade celebrate -
100 years of Volunteer Service. Some highlights include: Free entry,
free kids' activities and giveaways, dress-ups, kids fire truck, badge
making, firetruck crafts, lucky dip, free goodie bags, Captain Koala, kids story time and more. You will get to see live burn table displays, get hands on with the interactive hazards kitchen activity, get your fire safety info packs, access fire preparation information, & take home your free planning goodies. Barbecue burgers will be served up by the Mansfield Scouts, and there'll be a coffee and donut van, and snack & soft drink sales onsite . Holly Goltz and Reiley Gibney- Schelfhout will be performing live music throughout the event and Mansfield Radio will be broadcasting live from the Open Day. The official Opening Ceremony from 10 - 10.30 am will feature the raising of the new brigade flag, unveiling of the Captains' Avenue of Honour, dedication of the Centenary Honour Board, and a Fire Truck sound off to open the day.
