The bagpipes and sirens are THE sound of over forty years of the High Country Festival, and the first notes still help the crowd feel it. Thanks to Mansfield Hunting & Fishing for sponsoring this annual family favourite.

The Wangaratta Bagpipe Band leads the parade down High Street with CFA trucks from Mansfield and the surrounding brigades behind them, lights going. It finishes at the Recreation Reserve, where the CFA awards are presented.

This is the town's chance to say thank you to the emergency services crews throughout the district, who turn out for us all year after year. The fireworks follow straight after, from the same place, so once you are there you are set for the night.
