Singing Workshop with the Brunswick Women's Choir

Hailing from inner Melbourne, the Brunswick Women's Choir has been singing in than 25 languages about peace and justice, love and anger, beauty and promise for twenty years. The choir's 35 women come from a range of backgrounds and are united by their shared passion for singing and commitment to social justice. The repertoire reflects the passions, sorrows joys and triumps of life.

Writing Workshop with Rachel Berger 

Wild Woman, Rachel Berger, comedian, broadcaster, novelist, columnist, agitator and television entertainer is coming to Mansfield. Experience the laughter, the tears, the tenderness and the love as this extraordinary woman discusses the highs and lows of writing and performing her life story. Come to the Mansfield Secondary College and be inspired and enjoy the journey!
One day only. This event is a forum rather than a workshp and has been made possible by funding from the Victorial Writers Centre.

Student Arts in the Garden

Presented by Mansfield Garden Club. Come and stroll in Debbie Roberts garden adn view artwork by Mansafield school students. First 50 children recieve a free hellium balloon.


Free entry. Refreshments available only $4.
12 noon - 3.00pm: Free art & craft activities and Face Painting.
3.00pm: Free Pottery Workshop conducted by renowned Mansfield artist, Wendy Jagger.

Sunday 23 October

Karen Pirie

11am – 2.30pm: The NE Basketry group will be demonstrating basket making at Karen Pirie’s studio and garden at Mt Battery Rd. Everyone is welcome to come and see basket making in action. It’s a day to catch up and have fun. If you are already a basket maker feel free to bring along your project and materials, chair, lunch etc and join in. For those who are curious and want to try their hand at this craft, there will be some materials available and plenty of friendly advice.
No cost.
Venue: 50 Mt Battery Rd (Park next door at the Showgrounds and come through the gate in the fence)
As this event will be held outside, this is a fine weather event.

Pamela Moore

A realist style of painting is what artist of 30 years, Pamela Moore enjoys these days. But her versatily around the style is vast. Pamela works in oil, watercolour, pastels as well as many drawing mediums at her studio in Bonnie Doon.
