The Mansfield Regional Produce Store is proud to partner with
the High Country Festival. Owners Gill and Dean Belle are passionate
about the Mansfield community. In past lives they have been involved
in the Tamworth Festival and were the initiators of Opera in the
Alps. " We have always been focused on community events,
we love being part of the excitement and spontenaeity of what
can come out of the community", says Dean.
The Mansfield Regional Produce Store is a Spring Arts exhibition
venue during the Festival.
Mansfield's interesting mix of people, Melbourne and international
visitors, traditional local residents whose families have been
on the land since Mansfield was first founded and a new mix of
people who are settling in the area with young families create
an atmosphere of welcome and expectation.
The Mansfield Regional Produce store located in the heart of Mansfield
is truly a hub of activity. The comfy 50's lounge and the formica
tables and chairs from 'who knows where' are great conversation
starters. The building itself, one of Mansfield's oldest has baltic
pine ceilings and early archietecture and was fruit shop before
transforming into the best cafe in town. It has regularly featured
in local films and television promotion of the area.
Local produce, wine, musicians, art, fabulous food and senstational
staff are set off in an ecclectic almost bohemian style scene
- it's a place where the quality of your coffee is guaranteed.
Always open to suggestions from the community the Produce Store
hosts all sorts of events during the year and caters for many
other functions.
